Pabst Patent Group Provided Over 7000 Meals to Children in Need at 8th Annual Legal Food Frenzy

Pabst Patent Group raised the equivalent of 7307 meals during the 2019 Georgia Legal Food Frenzy competition, directly benefiting the Atlanta Community Food Bank.

The Georgia Legal Food Frenzy is a two-week food and fund drive competition that supports local hungry children and their families. The event is open to all members of the legal community, and its proceeds are donated to regional food banks throughout the state of Georgia. Every $1 raised allows local food banks to distribute $8 worth of groceries into their respective communities. This year marked the 8th annual Legal Food Frenzy fundraising event.

“We are proud to participate in such a noble cause,” remarked Eli Monheit, Chief Operating Officer of Pabst Patent Group. “Summers can be difficult for children who rely on free or reduced meals at school throughout the school year. We hope that the effort we’ve put in will help relieve those families of the struggle to feed their children. The health of our children is incredibly important to the growth of our community. The leadership and dedication shown here – by all who participated – is remarkable.”

Georgia's lawyers have raised over $1.5 million for the food banks, equaling over 6 million meals since the start of the Legal Food Frenzy, according to the event website. Its continued success is due to the efforts of Pabst Patent Group and other legal entities in the Atlanta area and around the state.

The event is organized by the Georgia Attorney General, the State Bar and YLD, and the Georgia Food Bank Association.
