Aliza De Nobrega, Ph.D. Joins Pabst Patent Group as a Scientific Advisor

Pabst Patent Group LLP is pleased to announce that Aliza De Nobrega, Ph.D. has joined the firm as a Scientific Advisor. Dr. De Nobrega holds a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Neuroscience and will contribute to the firm’s work in the biotechnology space.

“We are thrilled to add a scientist of Dr. De Nobrega’s caliber to our team,” said Eli Monheit, the firm’s Chief Operating Officer. “She is highly respected by her peers, and her background and experience are perfectly aligned with the work PPG does on behalf of its clients.”

Dr. De Nobrega has many years of research experience in genetics, as well as behavioral and molecular neuroscience. Her technical expertise includes mendelian genetics, molecular assays for the quantification of DNA, RNA and proteins, confocal microscopy, bioinformatics, electrophysiology, and surgical procedures for multiple vertebrate and invertebrate model organisms. An established author of published peer-reviewed journal articles and frequent presenter at conferences nationwide, Dr. De Nobgrega has received many trainee awards and research grants from reputable funding agencies and organizations including the National Science Foundation, Graduate Women in STEM, American Association of University Women, Golden Key International Honors Society and the Society for Neuroscience.
