PPG Associate Adam Raymond and Patent Agent Anna Sargsyan were among those invited to speak at the recent Georgia Bio Innovation Summit. Alongside other experts, they participated in a panel titled “Evolving Roles for Scientists During the Pandemic: Filling the Gaps”, which discussed how to prepare for a job market affected by the Coronavirus pandemic.

The Georgia Bio Innovation Summit provides a forum for bioscience and medtech professionals from industry, academia and government to discuss major trends and issues affecting the world today, including topics related to scientific research, product development, financing, business development and public policy. With approximately 500 participants this year, including CEOs, senior executives, scientists and public policy officials, the summit has been an opportunity to virtually showcase Georgia’s latest bioscience innovation. The nonprofit has hosted the Innovation summit since 2001.

“We are both thrilled to have been able to participate in this year’s conference,” said Dr. Raymond. “The Georgia Bio Summit is a great opportunity for experts in tech transfer, public health, and life sciences to come together and discuss the unique challenges that 2020 has brought to the scientific community.”
