PPG is thrilled to welcome
Stacey Jones, Ph.D. and
Jhordan Rogers, Ph.D., to our firm as Scientific Advisors. Their backgrounds in chemistry, biotechnology, and pharmaceuticals further strengthen our capabilities.
Stacey Jones, Ph.D. – Chemistry & Biotechnology
Dr. Stacey Jones brings more than 10 years of research experience in biology and chemistry, with a focus on bioorganic and medicinal chemistry. His work includes enzyme mechanism studies, protein engineering, and the structural analysis of complex biomolecules.
At PPG, Dr. Jones assists with prior art research, drafting patent applications, and patent prosecution before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). He also works with foreign associates to guide the prosecution of international applications.
Dr. Jones holds a B.S. in Chemistry from Georgia State University and earned his Ph.D. and M.S. in Chemistry from Emory University, where his research focused on complex enzymatic systems, particularly metalloenzymes and cofactor-dependent transformations.
Jhordan Rogers, Ph.D. – Chemistry & Pharmaceuticals
Dr. Jhordan Rogers has a decade of research experience in bioanalytical chemistry, spanning academic and industrial settings. His work focuses on immunology, nanotechnology, analytical chemistry, biophysics, bioconjugation chemistry, cell-based therapeutics, and microscopy.
At PPG, Dr. Rogers assists with prior art research, drafting patent applications, and patent prosecution before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). He also works with foreign associates to guide the prosecution of international applications.
Dr. Rogers holds a B.S. in Chemistry from East Tennessee State University, an M.A. in Chemistry from the University of Virginia, and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Emory University. His doctoral research focused on using DNA nanotechnology to measure intercellular molecular forces—particularly in T cell interactions, which play a key role in the body’s defense against virally infected or cancer cells.
